Oklahoma Sooners vs. Texas Longhorns will be a great game!

College football would not be the same if there wasn’t rivalry games. If fans didn’t have that one game every year to look forward to that allowed them really rowdy and earn bragging rights until the next game, they may not get as excited about the less-popular games. A perfect example of this is the Oklahoma Sooners - Texas Longhorns rivalry. When the Big 12 Conference was created, the founders had hoped that intra-conference rivalries like the OSU vs. UT rivalry would develop… fans pay big bucks to go to these games and they often get hyped media attention.

The Sooners - Longhorns game continues to grow and in a recent interview with Texas Coach Mack Brown, in his opinion it is only getting bigger. Brown feels that with each passing years the traditions and hype will only grow and fans should expect that the October 17th match-up this year will be the bigget yet. If you are planning on going to this game and you don’t already have your tickets I would suggest getting them now, Sooners fans and Longhorns fans are known for being some of the most fanatic in the league and they will sell out this game! Lots of 3rd party ticket brokerages still have seats, you just have to be willing to look for them!!
