National Signing Day

National Signing DayToday is National Signing Day for college football. High school football prospects across the country will sign national letters of intent with their favorite colleges today, many in front of cameras or friends. Check out the Big 12 Teams and see if your favorite team got those big time recruits that might push them to the top of the Big 12 next season. Here's something to note: 21 of the 22 high school players who committed to sign with the Longhorns on Wednesday attend a Texas high school. The recruiting class of Texas includes seven players ranked in the ESPNU 150. That is very remarkable.

Can't Wait for 2011-2012 Season!

RecruitingI know next season is so far away but I still can't wait. In the offseason, that's where programs make their moves. Getting the good recruits and taking the bluechippers and getting more out of them is what every coach strives for. Pay attention to your team and follow what recruits are coming in. You never know who will be those impact players and who could be the next Heisman Trophy winner!

Five Big 12 Teams in Top 25 Recruiting Rankings

The Texas Longhorns were number 1 in recruiting rankingsAccording to the much respected ESPN recruiting rankings for college football, the Big 12 had 5 teams in the Top 25 for the incoming freshman class. Texas was number 1, Oklahoma came in at 3, Nebraska at 15, Oklahoma State at 16, and Texas Tech at 20. Year in and year out the Big 12 gets heralded recruits and this year is no different. With two teams in the top three, that is quite impressive for one conference to get that many prized recruits.
