Mack Brown Closes Spring Practice To Media

Mack Brown is not happy with the Texas Longhorns 5-7 record last season. He is taking stephs to make sure that doesn't happen again. With Spring Practice starting Thursday, Mack Brown has decided to close the practices to the media. Brown has closed most of his team practices for several years, but said he decided to close them all this year because he doesn't want any distractions for himself, his players and his staff. It was the first losing season at Texas in 13 years. Mack Brown is keeping all of spring drills closed to the public until the annual team scrimmage on April 3.

Iowa State Cyclones update

Spring practice for the Iowa State Cyclones begins today, but Head Coach Rhoads has already decided what he spring depth chart will look like. With only five starters returning this season, Paul Rhoads has an idea of what he'll need to do to continue the Cyclones' success on the field. With such a young defense, Rhoads is excited for the chance to mold out the perfect team and integrate Palomar Community College transfer Anthony Young into the mix. Luckily, the Cyclones offensive team is a powerhouse returning duo of ready to make the most of the senior year with the team.
