The Oklahoma Sooners crushed the Connecticut Huskies in the 2011 Fiesta Bowl. The UCONN Huskies qualified for the Fiesta Bowl via an automatic birth from the Big East. They probably didn't deserve that BCS birth. Quarterback Landry Jones threw for 429 yards and 3 touchdowns while wide receiver Ryan Broyles caught 13 passes for 170 yards and a touchdown. A 28-10 run in the 2nd half blew open the game after Oklahoma had a 10 point lead going into half.
