Texas Tech Backs Out of TCU Game

Texas Tech Red RaidersThe Texas Tech Red Raiders have backed out of its scheduled game at TCU this September. Instead, the Texas Tech Red Raiders have added a home game against Texas State. Tech then switched its home game against New Mexico to Albuquerque. This move by Texas Tech looks like one to dumb down their nonconference schedule. TCU has become a power in college football and Texas Tech should be ashamed if that's the case. Games like this help the Big 12, not hurt. Enjoy Texas State.

  1. Obviously Tuberville has taken a page out of Mack Brown's playbook. I recall that Mack Brown was afraid that his Longhorns would lose to Hawaii, so he cancelled that scheduled game and played New Mexico State or another cream-puff team instead.

    We miss Mike Leach.
